Hey, I am going to go to Australia this summer for about 17 days and I want to go spearfishing in some of the local reefs. I live in the US and I just need to know if bringing my own spear gun is OK to do and what legal stuff I need to worry about, such as if customs will get weird with me, etc.

Anyone have experience with this situation?
