Reef Monitoring, Inc. is organizing another reef cleanup in Clearwater on Saturday 24-Sept at the *new* Clearwater Harbor Marina. More information is available here:
Reef Monitoring
Note there are door-prizes for the divers that recover the most marine debris and participating boat owners receive a $50 gift certificate. All registered participants receive a T-shirt, an air fill, and a *free* lunched provided by Hooters.
As you know, marine debris not only detracts from the aesthetic appeal of our neighborhood natural and artifical reefs, it threatens our wildlife:

We had a blast at our last event and expect this one to be bigger and better:

Reef Monitoring Inc. is dedicated to provide educational programs, care for and improve Florida's valuable reef and estuarine ecosystems, to advance sustainable communities, to help build institutional ability, and to gain broad-based public support for ongoing marine conservation, habitat enhancement, research and education programs.
Thanks,
Dave
