Newly certified diver here. I've done several resort/discovery dives over the past few years, but retired a few weeks ago and decided to get certified. Did a three day intensive PADI OW course two weeks ago before doing a Caribbean cruise last week. Fantastic time diving in Belize and Costa Maya. I now have 9 dives under my belt and am having withdrawal symptoms since returning to not-so-toasty New England. Hope to do AOW once I get a little more dive experience. This board has been an amazing resource. Thanks to all.

Welcome! I'm relatively new to the board as well, no longer a lurker. I have found the diving to become an obsessive hobby for me as well. Now, all of my vacations revolve around diving.
