Well, it finally happened.

Did my last pair of checkout dives on the weekend, and now I am finally a certified diver. Took a bit of doing, but I finally got there.

Just wanted to say to anyone in the Kingston area, if you are looking to get a certification...Northern Tech Diver is the place to get it. They are IMHO simply the best around.
