Just a short note as this is the first time on any forum. I joined to get information regarding dive outfits at different areas I travel to. This trip is to Playa del Carmen. I googled diving there and saw a link to this site and thought it would be worth a try.

Any information on diving in and around Playa del Carmen for an open water diver who dives a couple times a year would be appreciated.

thanks

Hi there jpound, welcome to ScubaBoard, plenty of GREAT diving around PDC, the Cenotes are a MUST DO DIVE when in the area, they are very easy and relaxing and you'll love them. If you are using your own gear, dive them last and get a good fresh water rinse.
