Hi there and Welcome to SB.com!

Okay, why go to Alaska to do your Aow...??

    :bandit_2: don
You can test the tanks you breathe or - dive on hope.
    Testing is safer...

Great news for vacation divers who cannot talk themselves into buying a personal CO tank tester!

    >> Rent one for a week or longer here <<

Yeah it's just the air we breath - at depth!

A warm SB welcome to you from the chilly, orca infested waters of Puget Sound. Yes, as you know, chilly. Getting some pretty good viz here lately.

Where do you dive in the Sound?

Welcome to SB Kcarpen! Yeh, there are few zillion postings. The search feature works really well for narrowing down specific topics.

    Alaska

That's great that you will be doing your AOW as it's a really fun course. If you are doing it up there in Alaska, I hope you have access to a dry suit.

I live In Lakewood, (Near Ft Lewis).
I dove Titlow on Monday (16 Jan.) The Visibility absolutly SUCKED!
it was still a fun dive, current not too extreme on that day/time.
still waiting on getting my dry suit cert. I have the suit , now I need to learn to use it.
Looking for a dive trip to Day Island soon.
