Hey all...

I'm in the Kansas City area and do most of my diving lake/quarry in southern Missouri or northern Arkansas area. I guess most is now shop diving down at Beaver Lake.

Putting together a hop down to dive the Oriskany in a few weeks. Been trying to get calendars together for a while and my original dive buddy for that has new work situations preventing, but that opened the door to seek another diver I've been comfortable with at depth.

I'm an SSI Dive Control Specialist and recognize that there are several types of diving that I want to have experience with before I move on to the instructor level. One of the guys in my DiveCon group went immediately to instructor so this actually is a great thing as we work really well together and this gives us the chance to do that.

Some of the things I'm looking forward to doing before that step includes: wreck diving in the great lakes... Some Key Largo time... somewhere in the Caribbean and maybe Mexico/Yucatan area.

Well, that's about it for opening thoughts.

Welcoem to the ScubaBoard! Hope you make all those dives and then some!!!!

The Big O is on my to do list... have fun with that!

Welcome from another long time lurker!

I'm trying to start getting a little more active here. I'm pretty sure my friends are getting sick of me talking about diving all the time, so I need another outlet.

welcome

There are alot of very cool places to dive ... but it's so cool to dive wrecks in the lakes. Since the water is so cold and mostly deeper that wood is preserved. So when your standing on the deck of the Smith Moore that went down in 1889 your taken back in history.
