I'm pretty new to the scene. I thought that this would be a fantastic hobby for me given my background. But it's really a funny story. I went snorkeling for the first time a few weeks ago at La Jolla Shores, southern California. And I loved it! I'm 23 now but in all 4 years of high school I volunteered at the Chula Vista Nature Center and Stephen Birch Aquarium as an aquarist. I was also a local surfer in La Jolla. I had much love for the ocean in my high school career but I stopped the whole marine bio track and I lost interest when I moved to Orange County. It wasn't until a friend invited me to go snorkeling a few weeks back that I realized how much I still love the ocean. So now I'm here. Wanting to learn more about snorkeling. And I'm thinking about trying the Tilos Frameless for my first mask. I'm sure La Jolla has some decent lds I can hit up. Anyways, I'm glad to be part of this community and I hope to learn from you guys. Cheers!
