I decided that this is the year for me to learn how to scuba dive. Looking for a padi course I can fit into my schedule, being a shift worker its challenging. Looking for some used gear too to fit my budget. Scuba diving is something I've wanted to do for a long time looking to forward to the adventure.

"eLearning" (in the PADI world) would be one way to satisfy your shift work challenge. eLearning allows you to do the academic portion online.

After the eLearning is complete all you need to schedule the confined water (pool) work, again hopefully at your schedule. A fair number of the eLearning students we have are either folks with shift "issues" or are from well out of town and have limited time to spend to come in. That will address the academics and confined water work with the open water dives left to schedule.

I am sure you will be able to find a way to make it work.
