:D It's really nice to see so many members getting into greeting SB-Newbies here on Intros, but if you want to look at page 2 or even 3, please click the number - like "2" rather than using the Next or ">" button. It's too easy to hit "Last" instead and pull up threads from the origin of SB.

There are no real rules here, but this does make it difficult to notice and greet new Intros when old ones are pulled to the top of page 1. It's happen twice in the last week. :11:

Thanks for your help, and for your cooperation.

BTW it just goes to show how much we pay attention to the dates in the post

I think all of us on the new greeter team feel that an old post that is "resurrected" in this forum takes away from greeting those that are "really" new to the board.

Personally, I believe that this only applies to this Introductions and Greets forum and that "resurrecting" old threads in other forums is actually helpful. IMO, it keeps more information about one topic in one place and gives us an idea of some of the information the person with a related question has already gone through.

Ultimately though, it's not about what we as greeters think, but about what you as members think.

So, tell us because we really want to know. What do YOU think about things that relate to this forum?

Well, we haven't see any more 4 year old Intros lately. We do see some from a few months back now and then that a new member has found from a Search and posted on - which brings it to the front again, and - some of us greet them additionally, if we didn't back then.

Oh well, we're a friendly bunch, and I think that's good. :clapping:
