Barbados lodging...

I want to go to Barbados and dive for bottles (and maybe do some beach metal detecting/treasure hunting too).

Does anyone have any recommendations re: decent, reasonably priced lodging? And the same for restaurants?

I usually look for the smaller, quaint mom and pop type places.

Any information/insight will be greatly appreciated!

When I go to Barbados I always stay at the Sea Foam Haciendas. Welcome to Barbados!

My fav place to eat is OPA which as it sounds is a great Greek restuarant. Call and see if they are doing baracuda....their best. To the right of that is a little Jamaican jerk place. Lots of places to eat in the Gap but costly. The street vendors have great food and have never had problems with that food.

On the way to B town is a place called DA Kitchen. Good food there too.
