Critter -----or not???......Need help in ID'ing these pics......Wife says it is some

sort of UW critter...I say it's some type of (broken off) coral.....Taken @ Cayman Brac about 5 days ago on a second(ie shallow) dive @ about 30 feet or so deep........It was just bobbing along in the water about 2 feet off the bottom...I was diving solo @ the time so no one else but me---lol & my camera--saw it...Got 4 shots(all below) plus a few seconds of video of it(haven't uploaded that yet).....Also, all are unedited straight out the camera pics, appeared to be about 4 to 5 cm long....TIA.............

Just the mind here of an old fart hoping for something that was not-----lol........hoping for @ least a mal-deformed?? ornate or robust ghost pipefish I've taken before--in the Philippines......Ah, wishful thinkin'........

Well it looks like it has bryozoans on it.. Those are critters...?
