Spearfishing Pillar Point - Half Moon Bay?

I've been doing a lot of fishing about 1 mile out from pillar point. Water seems shallow w plenty of fish. Couple weeks ago when I went the water looked pretty clear. Not super clear but I would say 10-15' visibility.

Anyone go spearfishing around this area?
A little on the cold size but it looks tempting. Maybe I could find some of the jigs I lost through the years as well. Lol

i have all my own gear and a 18' achilles inflatable w 115hp motor.
Any reason I should not attempt this?
I've seen a lot of dolphins in the area. Caught a couple spiny dogfish but no GWS.
