When a beloved pet enters our life, they give us part of their heart. They show us what unconditional love and joy is. When they leave, I like to think they take a piece of our all-too-flawed human heart with them, leaving us better than when they entered our lives.

Such a difficult decision to make. We want them to be with us forever, but unfortunately, there are other plans. We've put down two of our cats in the twenty years we've been married, and they are still evident in our house.

May you find peace with your decision and know that your pet loved you for doing the right thing.

The best thing about dogs is you could have the worst day of your life and get figuratively kicked in the teeth and nads from every direction. But you come home and walk through that door and you’re instantly a hero and the most important person in the world.

An hour after we dropped her off to be cremated we were met with this. It was after an intense rain storm and we were trying to eat dinner with my parents. The photo does it no justice but the full spectrum was as vivid as I have seen. Thank you God for taking my girl into your arms. Im a mess right now. Sorry for the rambling.
