is this arizona speak? it doesnt make sense to me

No... not AZ speak.

My guess... 'Thanks for the heads up. Despite the last thread getting yanked immediately, it looks like this one is a go.'

I think it's in violation of the TOS's Workplace friendly code of Ethics, which is interpreted by the MOD's and you can read by clicking TOS at the very bottom-left of this page.

I can't see any subject matter or discussion concering your 1st post's topic to be Workplace Friendly.

I don't see a new thread either, someone is asking for a sb vacation

There are many reasons a thead or post gets pulled. Usually it's after it's been reported, and the Mod agrees with the report. If you were the originator of the thread, you should have been notified and I would appreciate a PM if this is not the case.

However, trying to seek "justice" in the open forum for a deleted thread and/or post is not the way to do it. If you want action, contact one of the mods, or me privately. No, that doesn't guarantee that we will see things your way, but we do try to be fair and listen.

Hey, I'll stand up on this as the mod who pulled the post.

1) It was reported a few times and I do agree with the reports that ScubaBoard was not the appropriate medium for this post. Or perhaps it is, but not in the fashion it was being communicated. Even if the person is not a member of ScubaBoard, this is a form of harassment, and there are better ways to communicate the concern for this persons employment in regards to interaction with possible clients. Harassment is not allowable and is outlined in the Terms of Service.

2) When I clicked on the original posters name to send him a PM and explain why it had been pulled, the OPs "recieve Private Messages" option had been turned off thus a quick message via SB was not an option. The other option at that point is to send an email, which I would have been doing about this point this evening now that the kids are settled down, but since there is a site support post questioning, there's the answer.

I hope this answers the lingering questions! :D

Note: In order to help facilitate expedient communications with staff, make sure your Private Messaging is turned on.

The OP has posted yet another thread on the same topic. since you have your PM option turned off I have to inform you this way. Your new thread has also been removed. Before you can provide written proof (reports, documents etc.) of your accusations I would like to kindly ask you to stop creating new posts. New threads/posts on this topic will be removed without comment.
