RonFrank:
Hey Pipefish, I think PADI needs a new specialty. I'm thinking the "KEEP YOUR STUFF OUT OF THE SILT" class. As people seem to have a VERY hard time with this, I'm thinking two days of classroom and pool, followed by four dives! :eyebrow: That still may not do it! :mooner:

I think it's a fabulous idea as long as you're willing to be the Poster Child :rofl3: !!! Although, I didn't realize you had enough stuff to drag in the silt :11: ..... Who Knew!

I've got MADDD Stuff! However I keep it out of the silt for the most part! :dork2:

In fact I have STUFF for Sale! Biofins, a mask or two, a UW film camera, and more. Maybe even my Zeagle Stiletto, but I'm on the fence on that.

Didn't your Mom teach you to not drag your "stuff" in the silt???? :no

Now that I have been up close and personal with sharks, Ron doesn't scare me.:crafty:

It appears that the class that I was going to work is going to take place on the following weekend (Sept. 22 - 23). I'll be there on the 16th for the 3rd weekend dives with the ABQ guys/gals though. :) See everybody then.

So who all is going to be at the HOLE this weekend?

I think we have

Pipefish
ABQDiver
ME
Myself
I
Waterskier
GeoRoc
amascuba
Tjack

More?

I know A1 will be down.

I'm thinking that Tjack, Waterskier, and I will be doing some dogs or maybe burgers for lunch on Saturday. We are also planning on a night dive Friday evening.

Sunday would be great to burn something with the ABQfolks, but I'm not sure who all is going. I'll have my little grill...

It looks like a nice weekend, and hopefully we won't get hammered by a Strom. Last trip the lightning was so close I thought we were all toast! :shakehead:

Count me in! Be there with brats for Sunday!!

Well it was a fun time down in Santa Rosa once again.
:11doh:
Some of the more memorable moments:

ABQDiver getting physically assaulted UW! :shakehead:We were at maybe 30' doing our typical spiral up, and some diver lands on Kevin, and starts Kicking the crap out of him! :rofl3: I look over, and there is Kevin, vertical (a rare position for him) fending off some diver that I guess had the buoyancy of a rock as they needed to constantly kick, and at this point, their fins were aimed at Kevin. That reverse frog kick did not come in too handy as he was backing up head first! :11doh:

I fell off the dock at Perch when putting on my BC. I was seated, with the BP/W behind me on the dock ready to go. I went to put my arm in, got off balance, and slipped off the dock! Now I have a 2`+ tall dock in front of me with my BC nicely positioned for me to slip it on assuming I was up there! :11doh:

I inflated it, pulled it off the dock, and discovered the joys of routing a long hose, attaching my Dry suit inflater, and getting all my other stuff routed properly while bobbing around like a marker.

Well, the diving was enjoyable, the company was great, we BBQ'd brats, and burgers, and I think everyone had a good time. Special thanks to Rick for doing the driving, and to TJack for making the SI's especially at the end of the evening enjoyable.
