I'm a dive-toddler, now.

Flew to the west coast (Vancouver Island) this last weekend and did my dive 4 for OW, then did 4 more dives.

And on one of the dives I actually felt like I was getting the hang of this. I was cold, and scared, and facinated, and thrilled, and agitated, swollen with pride, and humbled all within about 5 minutes.

I know this is pretty basic stuff, but I am very excited. :dork2:

Basic or not, it is an incredible feeling to be a new certified diver. You are now part of a world that many others are not capable of seeing. Welcome to the club :D

Good Job! Just keep it up and never forget, diving is fun!

Congratulations!

Richard

Congrats!!

I heard there was a bunch of "flat landers" out our way. Where did you guys go?

O

lol I know how you feel. I have done my first dives after OW this past weekend. We had a great time and our instructer had some new discover scuba divers with him and he treated us like he didn't have to worry because he knew we knew what to do (and we did!) so we didn't feel like the newbes so much.

From one relative noob to another - congrats on your certification.

Congrats from another newly certified diver... this stuff is addictive, so buckle up, and start planning your next dive trip!

I'm heading out for my first post-cert dives on Saturday... can't wait!
