For any of y'all who are interested, I was at Rawlings on Thursday. The surface temp was a bit colder than expected - only 47 degrees. The bottom was about 43 degrees.
Visibility was phenomenal ~75-100 feet by my instructor's estimate (I always stink at estimating visibility so I always defer to someone else).

Also, they are bulldozing a few trees and preparing for the upcoming season, so it should look a bit different this year.

p.s. I am now a certified dry suit diver!!!!!! Very exciting. Now all I have to do is come up with $2000 to buy one :D

For comaprison - in March Millbrook was 39 top to bottom, vis 15 feet, Mt Storm was 53 to 90 feet, vis 5-8 feet.

You did good!

Kevin can be a bit grouchy at times, but I think it depends on the day.

Kevin is a cool dude, it's the A$$wholes that always try his patience. He always treats my buds good, but then again we are taught to follow the rules in the service. Shame other don't give him respect.

i dont care what anyone says about kevin but I don't like him.

Was there for the week-end, conditions hadn't changed. Kevin is like everyone else, he has good days and bad days. But I have found him to be reasonable if treated reasonably!! Of course on a rough day when everyone is being a problem it would be hard for any of us to be cheerful. All in all he does a good job of keeping things running smoothly most of the time. IMOH!
