Is anyone else offended that these morons are on ScubaBoard spamming everyone?

Yeah, thanks for the unsolicated sales message... let me come dive with you now.

They even have the gall to write "I read your post on scuba board" followed by a lengthy sales message. No you didn't read anything- you spammed me.

I surely won't be diving with them, ever.

They sent me a PM with an awesome deal to come try out the new folks running the show. That's not spam, that's marketing. If you're not interested in diving with them, delete the message and move along. But for God's sake, stop being a whinging drongo..... :lotsalove:

Sorry, I could not help myself....

I got it. I was somewhat nice about it though. Personally I do not care for their Zero to Hero instructor program over there. IT was common practice for DMC and IDC to put divers on the line at 20' repetitve dives to get the required minimum dives for the certs. I WOULD never want to be associated with anyone who's goals were the stated minimum standard that is just revolting to me.

Other than that I do not think anyone has died on their boat in a long long time...

Garbage can email accounts work well for me. I don't know who has the phone number one digit different than mine but I'll bet they get a lot of telemarketers calling them. Maybe I should call them sometime about a great diving deal and see how they respond.

So, Brian, what day do we want to go on Pro Dive with our buds? :) Everyone here got the e-mail, so I'll have to find a Kayuba or South Florida Divers person to share it with.

Ryan, have you ever made a post here with a positive message? I'm too busy to go looking but I can't remember any.

PM sent.
Hi Genevieve,
Thanks for writing, it is good to see Pro Dive resurrected. I worked for Greg and Loren McKay for a summer many years ago, and I was saddened by their tragic deaths. I was a NAUI Instructor for UnderSeas Sports for many years (when the Brooks family owned it) and we mostly used Pro Diver, Capt. Bill Cole at the helm, for checking out students. I will definitely take you up on you awesome offer! Let me get back to you on what date. :D
