No way...the coolest thing I saw in Tahoe was a rather large Kokanee eating from a bait ball made up of fish fry, less than three feet from me. It was zooming in and out, grabbing food for at least a minute. Hard to top that! LOL

We are going to head to Tahoe in a couple of weeks, but I am considering bringing my fly rod for some catch and release fishing or some other entertainment, like a MTB, to fill the voids. A couple of scooter dives then I will get bored. I wish I had a four stroke on my Zodiac. I have owned a couple of boats for many years and never taken one to Tahoe. The irony of it is when I sold my Nautique, it went to live at Tahoe. I am always looking for it when I am there.

Fear the pinchers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those guys can really hurt you.

Is the $30 fee each time you put your boat in, or do they give you an inspection sticker for a month, couple of months or a year?

If it is each time that could get pricey! Go enough and you could justify keeping it in a slip..

Heading up there at the end of July for vacation. A couple of us are going to throw in our gear regardless of the stuff underwater to look at. Its a chance to get wet and practice - which won't hurt me one bit.

Question though - this wall, or is it called rubicon - is it accessible by boat only? Or can we reach it via the beach and kick a bit? We are used to kicking as we do it at point lobos all the time. Thought I'd ask. If not - other than calling the local shops, is there any recommendations via land access? No boats here.

Other than that - I believe we are going to be hitting up zepher cove one day or night just to see what we find...
