Need Advice: Travel Agent for Truk/Palau

Does anyone have a reference for a good travel agent that can set up a scuba trip from the US to Truk and potentially a second island?

Check out Reef & Rainforest, Island Dreams, South Pacific Island Travel. We usually use R&R but you can't go wrong with the others.

Without a doubt, we recommend Ryan Dandy at World of Diving in Hermosa Beach, CA. (800 GO DIVIN) We just returned from a Fiji dive trip that Ryan set up for us. He jumped through hoops to keep us from being inconvenienced by a recent Category 4 cyclone! Our trip was absolutely perfect. See the review I wrote here:

As a matter of fact, Ryan just returned from a fact-finding trip to Palau and I'm sure he would be the perfect agent for you to speak with right now

I'll offer my vote for Sydney Fisch at The Scuba Connection. High volume LDS with full travel offering. She handles all my dive travel exclusively - from my house all the way to wherever and back. I don't take a trip without her. (So to speak, don't tell my wife.)

I also have been looking for a Truk Palau trip. The only way I found was, Book A Palau flight with a stop over in Guam. Then you have to pay for a Guam - Truk - Guam Flight about $700

yeah, we have used Caradonna and Island Dreams along with our Palau trip we booked through Ultimate Dive Travel - Live Aboard, Scuba Dive Yap, Palau & More
I would use any of those 3 again, no problem.

I used to use MDA for travel and highly recommended it to others. But for some reason in the last four months or so, service has taken a major downswing. I personally have experienced, and have heard from others, that they don't follow through with emails, people arrive at the destination only to find out everything wasn't taken care of. Not sure why things have changed there. Used to be fantastic and the rates were very good too. But I can't recommend them any more - at least not right now. I'd stick to the other agencies listed in this thread.
