Got a good run in tonight. Went outside the doggie park for a half mile jaunt .. twice! total 3.37 miles 489 calories, 6912 steps. Sweet.

That's awesome Jenny! Don't you just love it when it comes effortlessly? Congrats!

Tuesday 5/4 PM - Running intervals/sprints. Approximately 40 minutes total which included the three sprints up a slight incline. Needless to say, after cycling class and running - I am whooped. Time to watch some LOST and then to bed. Tomorrow I hope to make it to the pool. :)
 
I took off the shoes for the last 1/4 mile or so in the grass. It was wonderful, till I found a hidden pile of the brown squishy stuff! EWWWHHH!!! Otherwise, running barefoot is awesome. When I put the shoes back on, they felt heavy and cumbersome.
Picked up the book "Born to Run" at the library. Only 2 weeks to read it!! Must be a hot book, normally you get a month!

I found a pair through Amazon for $80. The style I'm getting is the Sprint. Good for running and water sports.
