I will say it came off a wooden ship and would put the age at about 1880, I have one darn close to that one and it came off a old wooden schooner. My glass is frosted from being hit with the sand in the river for over 100 years.

Thanks for your replay, I found this porthole inside the mid part of a metal ship!! the bow and the stern part of this wreck is not exist !!

I just need any reference source when this type of porthole was made !!!!

I like my mugs frosted, maybe I need to keep'em in the river till I need them.
