They looked so light and rugged when I examined them in yesterday in the Baltimore DC Dive show. I loved the TLS the best. I never expected them to be like this because I head read a lot of negative reviews about the suit. Like DUI = Dry Until Immersed and TLS = The Leaky Suit etc. I just wanted to ask who loves their DUI suit VS Who hates then and why?:idk:

I love my suit. I have the clx-450. Its proven quite dry and rugged.

Love it and have only had it for a couple of months. I dove in 34F fresh water in my area and 72F salt water in the Keys. Nothing but a good experience. Love the latex Zip seals, neoprene dry gloves and durability. Have a CF200 and I am thinking about trying to find a refurbished TLS350.

My size allowed me to fit into a stock size but I would get the custom next time.

"As for my DUI TLS350 drysuit, I love it!"

Ho, ho, ho....

I work with Hollywood Divers as a scuba instructor, and was on Catalina conducting classes. Walking through town Saturday night I saw that Santa get up in a shop. It had the hat, moustache, beard and everything all in one piece. The area that goes around your eyes was rectangular and looked to be the size of a scuba mask....I had to try it! On Sunday morning, I tried it out. The Santa mask fit right over my scuba mask..it was perfect. It would have been difficult to don the Santa in the water, so I got all geared up on land, Santa and all. I waited in line on the stairs leading down to the water at the Casino Point Dive Park. There was a cruise ship in and many tourists at the dive park. They got a kick out of Scuba Santa and many pictures were taken while I waited my turn to get in the water.

I only kept the Santa piece on during the descent as I had to conduct PPB skills with a student and didn't want it to be distracting...but it was fun!

As for my DUI TLS350 drysuit, I love it! I truly enjoy diving my DUI. Not just for cold water diving, but for almost all diving. I originally started diving dry for the redundant buoyancy characteristics when diving doubles. Now I dive almost exclusively dry for all my diving. Diving dry and being dry between dives is awesome. The TLS350 gives me a huge advantage while instructing too. I am able to focus on the students, and not on being cold or uncomfortable or wet or anything else. The TLS provides many benefits without any handicaps...and the Turbo Soles are the best thing to happen to my feet since warm fuzzy slippers.

Happy holidays to everyone!

I just brought a used one (CLX) so the price was reasonable. Being a novice dry suit diver, my trim sucks and my buoyancy skills now need a lot of work but I expect that as part of the normal transition.

I was dry and warm. It seems well designed and very rugged. I like the ZIP seal concept (have spares in the field to change & save the dive/trip), but the cost of the ZIP seals seems a bit higher (2x) than standard ones - ouch.

I have a custom built CLX-450, with zip seals all around and rock boots. I can't say enough good about it, including it's dry, it's never leaked, and it's dry. Oh, yeah. It fits, and it's dry.

Love my custom TLS350. Bought one in 2003, and love it so much, I just bought another exact duplicate in Dec 2010. Have 5 dives on the new TLS 350 and it fits great and is dry and love it, love it love it!!!

I've had 3 drysuits in 4 years, including a fusion. There is a reason I have a DUI TLS-350 now and I have no plans of changing any time soon. It has never leaked a dropped. Take care if it, and it will take care of you.

Love it. Got the zip seals and love them. There are always gonna be unhappy people if you look hard enough. We all tend to be brand loyal in one way or another. I got the TLS350 a while back and really love the freedom of movement and the charactertistics of the suit. Plus it is made in AMERICA!

Great to hear all the positive reviews. I've had 3 dives in my new TLS 350 and my only regret is I didn't get the zip-seals. Still trying to decide what to do about gloves - bought some over-priced plastic rings but haven't used them yet. Also trying to figure out the best weight and trim system - BP & wings? Weight belt with BC? Very, very happy with the warmth and dryness between dives since I'm in 45 degree water.
