I call BS in advance on anyone who claims to have done all seven!
I think Thalassamania has done all seven.
Costa Rica is in N.America I think, unless the dive boat went a long way...
Cocos is 36 hours by dive boat--is that long enough? No? Then I'll have to use the Bonaire loophole to get to four:
I classified Bonaire as S. America since it is only 54 KM off the coast of Venezuela

1. North America - Great Lakes + Caribbean
2. South America - ABC's (A & B, not the C)
3. Africa - South Africa, Egypt
4. Australia - PNG, GBR

You could start another thread that polls the number of Seas or Oceans.
1. Caribbean Sea
2. Atlantic Ocean
3. Pacific Ocean
4. Bismark Sea
5. Coral Sea
6. Indian Ocean
7. Red Sea

With your definitions, I make two, since Australia and Indonesia would be in the same group. What's funny is that at least my immediate bucket list wouldn't expand the count any.
If you're using a geological definition (Wallacea, Oceania), then Indonesia would get split along the Wallace Line, and dives in Borneo, Bali or Sumatra (or Java, if anybody dives there) would be chalked up as Asian diving.

If I can get Israel to count as Africa (its right next to Egypt after all) I have visited 7 continents, but have only dived in 2. Curacao in the Caribbean and the Red Sea from Israel.

What does the Med count as in this poll? I will be diving there in a couple of weeks.

Where would you place the ABC's?

I had a debate on that with National Geographic (US). I suggested they were South America, but N.G. places them in North America due to the tectonic plate they ride on.

I have only dived four (N. America, Europe, Asia and Australia) and had plans to visit Africa and South America by now... until the econ9omy and the dollar tanked. Still on my bucket list (as is Antarctica), but I'm going to need lots of friends dropping dollar bills into my bucket to do it!

I have made dives in several oceans. With the exception of Australia, most of the better dive sites are credited to originate around islands and not continents.

Many cultures also only consider there to be 5 continents....so I guess it all depends on who you ask.

I'm putting a kid through college without loans, so I don't have the disposable income for travel that involves other continents.
