That looks really good for the money - looked at the auction, but the photos are not working, any chance of some photos with it set up?

Thanks!!

Here's my rig. Although I got different arms then what is in the auction. Here is a picture of the arms that they sell now. Same material, just a different shape. Underwater Aluminum arm system - 9 inches ARM | eBay

The light is more of a flood and not a spot so it will not show in the pic.

Really nice set up. Did You have any comparison with S-2000 lamps?

My setup is quite heavy and has about -1 kg underwater.

Your rig is 1kg neg even with the float arms? I have no idea how negative mine is but I would say that it's just about perfect for me.

What lens is that on the housing?

I would love a set of S2000 strobes but I'm using a set of 8 year old strobes that work perfectly.

Thanks for all your suggestions.

In the end I ended up getting the flex-arm set (as this was cheap), but I already see why it would be a good idea to upgrade later on.

In the end, my first UW setup is following:

Olympus XZ-1 $400
2 spare akkus, charger $10
Olympus PT-050 $211
Olympus PTWC-01 $369
Strobe set $630
(INON S-2000, Fibre sync cord, Flex-arm 36cm, Double slot tray)
Fantasea 44 LED light $60
Flex arm 18cm $20
Coiled lanyard $30
Close-up lens +8d $5
+ other minor bits

All in all, I think money well spent and a good base to build upon.

One thing bothering me was how front-heavy the system was because of the PTWC-01 converter, so I bought a floating wrist strap (similar to this: Amazon.com: Pentax Optio Floating Wrist Strap - GWP: Camera & Photo ) to mount around the lens barrel and balance it out. Hopefully that’ll fix it.

The arms are not floating, they are rather neutral (they are made from carbon fibers and aluminium), but the lens (Inon UWL-H100 and Inon Dome unit) are really negative. Together with strobes it gives around -1 kg or little bit more.

Where did You bought these items with such prices? It was for new things?

I do not think so that this wrist strap will be enough, but if it will works then please put some image how it looks.

I spent little bit less than 400$ for my 2 arms and tray. For complete setup (including macro lens, WAL, Dome unit) I spent something like 3000$
