Ok, maybe two. And I was talking about the August list and heat, so I think you have FAILED to hijack this thread! Isn't your birthday in August? Oh, and do you know how many people drop dead from mowing in the heat. Look it up people....

Seriously, am I the only person crazy enough to brave the heat of August?

My very first trip to Cozumel was in August. We liked it enough that we returned a few weeks later with our son who'd been at camp the first time, still in August.

My family and I will also be there in August - 7/28 through 8/7. Staying at the Cozumel Palace, diving with Blue XT Sea. My daughter (Christine) and I will be diving, my wife snorkeling and hanging by the pool! My wife was hoping to get certified this trip, but has put her OW course off to the fall, after my daughter heads to college. One more dive trip with my daughter before she starts finding her own new dive buddies! Our first dive trip was also to Coz, in August - this will be our third trip there.

August isn't THAT hot here - and besides, it's a slow time so you have a lot more free roaming space above and below the water in August

And as most Texans (among other states) know - Cozumel is not nearly as bad as TX heat in August!

Well, two choices.
1. You could fly AA with a stop in TX or MIA for like 476.
2. Or you could book with El Jefe Travel. I think I can add two seats on the NONSTOPS, BWI-CUN, CUN-BWI for like 471 if you fly with my group travel, 8/16-25. Have to check the contract to confirm that and you would need to decide SOON before I make the last BIG payment on our group. You would also need to give me your sizes for the group travel t-shirts.:ironmyshirt:

Wow, I would go in a heartbeat for 476. but checking AA's website and cheaptickets and all the others, I'm still getting quotes of $740 plus. I want go on 13 AUG to 26 AUG seriously bad!
And August is a great time to go How you can you not just chill in Coz? hm? My routine is sleep late, nice breakfast, afternoon dives, cold beers, shower, jump on the moped and find a new back alley dive to eat, then finish off the night with a margarita at Wet Wendys witha good cigar. Next 12 days...repeat.

You are missing the point. I SIGNED a contract with Airtran for GROUP TRAVEL. I currently have 15 people on the contract. Airtran allows me to ADD 2 more people before I make the last payment in like 5 days. SO I can add two people for 471 each but you have to go on the flights we are on.

Your problems are...
(1) Baltimore;
(2) Going before school is back in; and
(3) Returning on a Sunday.

Still, you can have 2 out of 3 for less than $600...



You could even get Cancun for less than $400 if you were flexible on dates - $340 RT including taxes in some cases. The miles are cheap, but doing it your way is not.
