Lobster! I wonder why Florida restaurants still sell Maine lobster when the common lobsters are everywhere.

Hey Macro Madman,
Kelly's photo BHB-201208058238.jpg, is a corallimorph, but we can't find anyone who can give us a name for it.

Hi Trigfunctions,
Your snail is a Colorful Moonsnail, (Naticarius canrena)
Here is a photo of the animal in situ taken at the bridge.
It really is very beautiful.

Anne-
Thanks for the assist.
Will be braving the mobs for another weekend dive.
Saw some recent pics of the headshield slugs with the bright blue piping (from the east side) and we would love to find some.

Trig: I posted a video on a hunting moon snail you might like a while back

Yesterday on the eastern route was crab day. We saw a blue crab molt! My wife had had for some time a crab tank at home and I had never seen one molt and now I see why. Over in a heartbeat! We saw 2 crabs with one holding on to another--turned out to be the one molting. It looks as though the crab on top or behind is protecting the molter. Also saw a neck crab (I think) out and about. Good viz of about 30 and really warm 85-86F. Going again today and hope for the same!! I did see a group of parrotfish working the new rocks like I see elsewhere on the reef--must be something growing already. 2 workers on the rocks using a hooka rig--interesting.

I also shot an eel in a bucket under the east bridge

Is that what we're calling it now?

That thing flowed like the Orinoco. I hadn't even noticed that it *had* a shell the first time I watched it.

While I was there, I had to watch most of yer other videos, again, too. Just incredible stuff. Get to work and edit us some more, please. :)
