Greetings -

Appears this post was lost in the "corruption," so here goes again. Does anyone know the size/specs for the O'rings for:

Oceanic Pro Plus 2

Oceanic Veo 250

Thanks!

Just take the old O-rings down to a hydraulic shop and any good shop can compare them and get the correct size. They don't have to be exactly the same size there is some leeway. :)

When you live in the sticks, there is no friendly corner hydraulics store, hence my question posted here. As it turns out, I found my answer for the Veo 250 a minute ago here on SB. Still looking for the Pro Plus 2 spec, if anyone has it.

Thanks!

Check this thread for the information you're searching for. And please update it with your findings.

Here is a quote from Awap in that thread:
The Oceanic Data Plus uses a 2-023 o-ring and a pair of 2032 batteries. I'm fairly sure this combination is also used in the Oceanic air computers (hockey puck design) of that vintage.

In my notes, I have the Oceanic VEO xxx using a 2-026 O-ring and it does use a 2450 battery.

Sorry couv ... totally different animal.

I'm all set on the Veo 250, but the Pro Plus 2 is this big beast ...

It has a rectangular o-ring seat, so you can't measure the seat size, and the ring is big enough/floppy enough that it's hard to measure in its "approximately" round state.

.....ah, I see. Well, back to the drawing board. This add shows a round o-ring and it looks to be a standard cross section.

So, I would take the unit to a hardware or auto parts store and see what size fits. If you're not happy with the quality (they should be fine)...post the inside diameter and cross section and we can figure out the size.

I just replaced a battery for my Oceanic Pro Plus 2 and replaced the o-ring. The o-ring is a -028, probably 70 duro.

Good luck.
