I have family in Austin and Houston. They are both panicking right now over the ``cold.'' It is currently -8 here, and I told them I would gladly trade. I am thrilled it is going to be in the 30s by this weekend!
I had to jump a coworkers car this morning because their battery was frozen. That is when its time to plan the vacation!

At least in Canada our airports are used to dealing with this stuff, so not usually significant delays. But probably not a great selling point for moving to Canada.

Marg I hope that's true tomorrow. I'm on my way starting at about 5:00 AM when I hope the car will start. We've had some ugly weather here lately including yesterday.

I live just a tiny bit to the right of the red baloon in the little map shown & for a lot of the time yesterday we couldn't see the end of my driveway where it meets the road, which is about 30 meters from the window.

We are starting a warming trend here just in time for the Super Bowl. It's about 10f right now and will be warming into the 30s for the game Sunday night. Less than 3 weeks for Cozumel. Can't wait to get out of the deep freeze.
