How do I keep my latest reply from merging into my previous post?

Thanks
Pavao

After a period of time (a day?) the next post you make will be separate.

Also, if someone posts after you so that your posts will not be sequential then it will be listed in order.

As far as I know there isn't anything you can do about it. I believe it's a vBulletin feature.

I suspect that a lot of appended posts don't get read by people following a thread because it doesn't show up as modified on the subscribed list.

Exactly Akimbo, I asked because of that.

Idk R., here on this thread, posts 47 and 48 were not merged, and they are 4:40 hours apart. But the last post was about 12 hours ago, if I post now, it gets merged, so, Idk

It is a "quirk" of VBulletin. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do.

Hmm, now that I look back, the first 3 post on that thread were posted within 30 minutes apart from each other, and they were not merged, plus the example 47/48 post I listed.

There has got to be something else to it.

If you work to avoid it, your posts will be merged manually. This is called "Bumping" a post which is against the TOS.
