Did the night dive tonight. Only going to post a few since it is late and I am tired. 79° and good vis.

The first pair look like they're DANCING! I've never seen dancing on a hydroid. Waay Nice, Tim!
Very aggressive looking seahorse too! Your pics cry out for a wider audience, publish please!

There were definitely skeleton shrimp dancing, or fighting, or something. They were interacting with each other in some tiny hard to see manner

I saw out of the corner of my eye frogfish leap off the bottom and do their spawning thing, releasing a little cloud of eggs and sperm which was quickly dispersed by frantic froggy fins. :) This is one of the pair. His/Her dive buddy hid out! We did the Force E night dive last night, great dive--81 degree water-viz abut 15 ft I am guessing. I'm think'in this must be the male as he went RIGHT back to fishin'!

Anybody find a diopter? (hoping.. hoping.. )

Jenny,

I just bought some, a low priced set of 4 diopters on ebay. Vivitar brand with +1 +2 +4 +10 $12. bucks. We shall see if they are decent, generally from past experience; Vivitar is pretty good.

That's the same exact set I had for my Gopro.

Jenny's diopter unfortunately costs around $175. It's the same one I use.

I know the Inon (and some others) are expensive, which is why I don't have any. :) It is my hope that this will be a decent cheap solution although probably not as good optically. Is there any difference in how the lenses are made--any difference for uw or above water use? I am guessing they will focus in different ways. Anyway I am hoping I can zoom out to 90mm or so and focus at less than 18 inches or thereabouts.
