I am starting this new thread instead of continuing to post on the earlier thread about the new FONATUR marina.

My new book, The True History of the Caribbean Island of Cozumel will be out soon. Initially, it will be available in two versions on Amazon.com: A black and white, 6x9 paperback with 342 pages and a full color, 6x9, 342-page, paperback edition. The color edition will be more expensive, but the details in the old map lithographs, codices, and handwritten documents are easier to see in color than they are in black and white. A Kindle edition is in the works, but not ready yet. I have no current plans to sell the English editions though retail stores on the island; they will only be available from Amazon Books at Amazon.com for the time being.

Following the publication of the two English editions, two Spanish editions will follow. The Spanish editions will be sold on Cozumel, as well as on Amazon.com.

The book will undoubtedly cause an uproar on the island. One of my proofreaders said when the book is released, I will probably be burned at the stake, after they finish tarring and feathering me!

Can't wait to read it. Will you be offering signed copies?

Please update when it's available for purchase.

Maybe you should just hide out where Jacques Cousteau stayed when he was filming that movie on Cozumel!

While I will certainly be ordering two copies of the color paperback version, at some point I'll want you to sign the Kindle edition.

Interesting, given I recently saw some references to a cover-up conspiracy relating to contaminated air accidents. I might be curious enough to buy a copy as well.

On the other hand, I'm not really a "conspiracy theory" kind of guy.

Thanks for your show of support!

I will be sure to announce on Scubaboard the day the book becomes available for purchase.

The Cousteau family has already given me the keys to Jacque's secret bunker that was built for him by the US Army during WWII on site of Henry Morgan's old headquarters on Cozumel, so I will have a safe place to hide.

I would love to have a kindle edition!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope that comes out soon after the book!
