I just don't log dives
i just bought the DST/XTX 50 oxygen regulator ( the green coded ) for my deco gas i want to use it with 50

percent and pure o2 it will reach next week

i want to know if the hose length that came out with apeks regs for oxygen is 40 inch/100cm or shorter ?

i also would like to ask if can use it right from the box with o2 or i have to oxygen clean first before use

any advice / opinion is appreciated

It should be O2 clean out of the box if you bought it brand new and unused. I think it comes w/ a 29" hose. You can measure the hose w/ a tape measure from fitting to fitting but do not unscrew the hose.

Another issue might be whether you have a standard DIN connector or the slightly bigger European M26 fitting.

thank you for the help if i receive it of course i will measure it I'm checking now since I'm ordering more things from UK so if its 36 to 40 that would be great if not i will need new hose
about unscrewing no worries i service my own regs i just never owned a oxygen regulator and this is my first one.
i order DIN all my reg re DIN

What does that mean? Aren't all DIN connectors everywhere all the same?

the EU enforce them to use regulator with M26 regulators and valves ( which is a bigger diameter and thicker thread for more safety ) with any gas that have more than 22% o2 up to 100%
so in EU you have 3 choices DIN / YOKE for air and normoxic and you got M26 for nitrox , oxygen ,hyperoxic , helitrox
Pao you are right i did contact apeks the hose is a 29 and they are o2 ready straight from the box if they are new

Can it be then, that an oxygen clean regulator purchased in the US doesn't fit with a tank valve from EU?
