Class was EXCELLANT!!

I was the guy at the end of the table on the right side of the room (looking in from the door). You?

I thought it was good--Jack is a great teacher--but we wasted some time in the beginning and ended up rushing through too much of the hands-on portion. Some people had not read the text in advance, and between that effect and general chit-chat, we lost valuable time. Moreover, the class size was too large, especially for that classroom. I had all the required tools and then some, but I couldn't even bring my toolbox into the room. Being elbow to elbow with each other and having a dinner placemat-sized workspace was not conducive to the process. Twice the space, half as many students, and another hour or so would have made the difference between this being a "good" course and a course I could say gave me enough confidence to actually service my "life support equipment."

Oh my gosh, I KNOW you then. I was the guy in the center of the table in the red HOG shirt, next to the goofy instructor dude. Damn, I should have introduced myself and then said, I am also Doby45 on Scubaboard. I was jealous of you as you had one of the "shop" second stages and the body was red.

Yes, a bunch of time was wasted on getting everyone where they were supposed to be and Chris from Divers Supply said the class was originally only supposed to be 6. I think they have them so infrequent that they let anyone in that showed any interest.

Ha! The "goofy instructor dude"! I hope he doesn't read SB.

LOL, if he is offended I will make it up to him at the shop.
