I have the same tools as NotSure except the first stage handle. I just use an old HP hose fitting.

For your current problem, if it really is leaking from the ambient chamber/turret connection, that's not a good sign at all. Maybe you'll get lucky and neither the bolt nor the turret were damaged, but I wouldn't count on it. Take it apart and closely inspect both for any visible damage. If you need a new turret, your best solution may be to find a used MK25 or MK20 for parts. I guess it depends on how accessible and expensive new parts are in Australia. Here a new bolt and new turret would be A) difficult to buy from a dealer, and B) probably at least $100-150. That's a guess.

Regarding the bushing installation tool, it does really make things easier, but in your case, the bushings and o-ring are already installed, and you would just need to re-install the piston if it comes out when you remove the ambient chamber. You can probably get by with leaving the HP seat retainer in place, lubing the piston well, and carefully working it in place. It's not a knife edge piston like the older ones.

Thanks everyone, I've stopped using this reg, just in case.

I will trawl eBay for cheap used MK25s, it would be good to build up some spares anyway.

It is extremely unlikely that the problem is a damaged o-ring. It is most likely one or more metal parts. I suggest you talk to your local Scubapro dealer about a new ambient chamber, swivel turret, and turret bolt. I would expect the cost to be about a third the cost of a new Mk25.

OK, I dismantled the MK25, the ambient chamber, swivel turret, and turret bolt with plastic washer look OK, the threads on the turret and bolt mate well and it all looks straight, o-ring looks OK, not much lube in there and a little bit of gunk and a few scuffs and scratches on the metal mating surfaces, the turret does have a bit more wobble than a new MK25, I don't see anything that looks obviously caused by an impact, any checks I should do, any thoughts?

The turret will have a bit of play. Change the o-ring, light lube, assemble and see if it still leaks. If so check the hose fittings.
