Excellent video and top quality products. I got my Eddy Fins for Christmas and have dove them once so far and love them. I also got one of the dry bags and it works PERFECTLY for my drysuit bag. Then once I am in my suit, I can put whatever else I want in the dry bag.

So update, haven't been able to go diving yet, damn rain keeping me at work. However @Diving Dubai did a sneak attack on my place and I ended up having to lure him out with a stage set I put together. He is going to put it through its paces and give some feedback here soon.

I'm going to answer this, the guys can correct me if i get it wrong...

The whole business model of Deep 6 is to stay away from the OEM-Brand-Dealer-LDS-diver chain that makes the rest of the industry what it is. I believe that you will only be able to order from the site for the foreseeable future.

However, all is not lost. Right now, all the stock is produced in Taiwan, shipped to the US and then shipped to the customer, making the shipping to Oz a serious endeavor. They are looking at ways to ship either direct from the factory or via a distribution hub for the European and Asian And other markets, that should bring your cost down a lot.

All that being said, right now Chris is focussing on getting all the orders fulfilled for the US and as they are a fairly small operation staff-wise it may be a while before they get to expanding the market much.

Finally got to try out my regs and fins, it was just a couple of pool sessions so far but....

Wow. These fins are a-frikkin-mazing. I have never had such a comfortable fin in 25 years of diving. The foot pockets are phenomenal. Good power, frog kick demos were interesting since I was crossing the pool in 2 kicks so had to do double the lengths to show the students.

Regs are good so far but still need to get some depth on them for a good evaluation, the hose routing was super nice but it's my first 5-port swivel so that isn't Deep6 specific.

Taking the gang out for OW next week so watch this space...

Good write up and some great pictures. I dove my Eddy fins this weekend for the first time and I have to agree the foot pocket is incredibly comfortable.
