Picked this one up this year andgetting use to it. I have a dive or two this week that will be up to 145' using 28 but it won't let me plan the dive past 130'. Is there a way around this on the computer? Thanks

Is it in rec mode?

That it is. They really should have a better manual for this thing. I love this computer but it's taking some time getting use to it. Put it in tec mode and it ask me how long I want to stay. Just wish it gave me a NDL bottom time like rec mode. But I can make this work just fine. Thanks

I use MultiDeco to plan my dives, they're android app is free.

I don't know what the NDL past 40m is but I can't imagine it's very long, by 50m probably 3 minutes or so.

Looks like navy tables 2 give 5 minutes at any depth of 40m or below all the way to 60m, then after 60m youre in deco no matter how long.

As a rule of thumb, as a recreational diver you shouldn't be going past 40m without further training which is probably the reason for the limit of rec planning.

As others have alluded to, by the time you are +40m/130ft your NDL is pretty much negligible anyway.

You can get NDL past 130 in rec mode, you just have to use dive planner rather than NDL planner.

At 145', I know of only 2 tables that give some NDL time, neither of which I'd dive. I would guess that, in addition to rec being ~40m, is the reason they don't give you any answer.

Default on mine was 130 feet. Here is the Menu flow to change it. Changeable in OC Rec mode too.

Also, the NDL planner will not plan past your max ppo2 of whatever gas is activated, so if ppo2 is set to 1.4, 130 is the most you will get regardless of anything else using 28%.
