Using Ebay and off brand UW arms, floats and clamps?

Anybody have experience with the reasonably priced knockoff copies of UWCS and Nauticam, etc. arms and clamps that you find on Amazon and Ebay? I need three sets to make a macro tripod for my GH5 housing, but the cost of the name brands seem ridiculous for something that will likely be sitting in sand most of the time.

Also wondering if the carbon fiber floats are a bargain.

Not quite Ebay, but I bought this tray + arms + clamps combo through Aliexpress and don't have any complaints:

Same for these carbon float arms:

...although I underestimated how much lift my rig would need, so before my next trip, I'm planning to change the 60mm/8" arms to 60mm/10" ones.

These clamps, however, turned out to be garbage:
