SAILING CUTTING TOOL TAKING OVER THE MARKET

This rope cutter, yes I mean “rope” not line cutter has been sold out in several places I know within a few weeks.

I can’t recommend it enough because:
1. It can cut much, much thicker rope.
2. It’s half as cheap as the Eezycut. Eezycut where I am is 30€ and Rooster is 15€
3. It’s very strong
4. You can change the blades yourself

It’s made to be a sailing knife but seriously if you’re not diving with this..... I’ve seen first hand this tool cutting about 16mm thick rope (I think). It says it can cut up to 12mm but it can cut more than that easy. All the sailing clubs near me are buying them for use in safety boxes along with flares, first aid etc.

The only downside I can see to this knife is I’m not sure how you’d carry it other than drilling a hole through the bottom and putting a line through for attachment to a d ring or obviously using pockets. And the other downside is it doesn’t come with spare blades.

I encourage everyone to buy one seen as they’re so cheap and efficient. Enjoy!

How big it is exactly? I saw some pictures of another model the "Big Fish" made by the same company. Is it more or less of that size? Also, how much could it weight more or less?

I don’t have my hands on one yet as the shops were sold out when I rushed down to get one after I saw it.

From memory its approximately 7 or 8 inches or 17-20cm. It’s roughly 3inches/8cm at its widest point. It’s heavier than eezycut but in water it’s not heavy at all.

So will my BFK, I just don't use it if I don't know what I'm cutting. I also carry a line cutter and shears.
