I’m diving Coz in early November. First time there. What are water temperatures like this time of year? Will I be okay in well-fitting 3mm wetsuit? Full-body, not shorty. I have a decent temperature tolerance, so as long as water temps are 80 F or higher, I expect to be fine. Thanks!

I'm wearing short sleeve rash guard shirts and shorts during the day (Nov. 10-17). I might wear a 3mm shorty for night dives, maybe not.

Last year my computer was showing 84 Degrees on 11/01. I usually don't wear a suit but am taking a 3/2 next week to be safe, if the Sun is not out it does not matter how warm the water is.

3 mil full is my choice, wife wears a Lavacore. I've actually had to flush some water through it a few times to cool down. Most of the times, it's perfect. Unless you are VERY cold natured, I think you will be fine.

So that's the reason you are flushing water through it?

So people have an integrated wetsuite.

Better question would be "what is the water temp?"

That answer can be found at the blue xt sea site at Blue XT~Sea Diving - Cozumel Scuba Diving - Blue XT~Sea Diving and select a wetsuite to your comfort level. Some people may need a 7 mil with a hood, some may just need shorts and a tee shirt.

I wear a long sleeved easy guard and board shorts. The Mako one with the 1mm neoprene panels front and back is more than enough, and even a normal rash guard would be fine. Even on the night dives it was fine.
