Can someone please tell me the port sizes on an SE3? Thank you. I've a feeling they are not all "standard" but cannot find an answer. Thank you.

Found this on SB from 2007.

Need Conshelf SE3 Advice

The stndard LP port is 3/8" but for awhile there was a fad where many companies went top 1/2" ports to support a misguided marketing strategy that 1/2" ports would improve flow rate and brathing performance (it does not as the oprifice in the second stage is still the same size and is still the limiting factor.) Thankfully this fad has pretty much went away as, as you have discovered, it created a bit of a logistical pain by adding another port plug size.

So..just get a 1/2" port plug from the local dive shop.

No-there is a single adapter that converts 1/2 to 3/8 directly. See the link, it's the last one.
LP: 1/2-Inch M = 3/8-Inch F

When I've ever needed an 1/2" to 3/8" adapter I've always used the low profile Apeks ones, being Apeks not cheap but much lower profile.

Confused? I mean the first stage has 3x standard 3/8" lp ports and 1x 1/2" lp with the hp being the "standard" 7/16". Only one 1/2"-3/8" adapter would be needed to run standard hose sizes.
