I think that you'll find the selection of new ones for sale very limited and priced much higher than in the states because of the import duties and shipping challenges, but - let us know. The Scuba Repair Shop may have some good used ones.
That's not so true.... I know a Shearwater person here and the cost is comparable to the US if I'm correct.
This is common practice in the dive industry. No reason to single out Shearwater.Shearwater controls their retail prices. It's not that the US shops don't want to price lower, it's that they can't.
Have you ever dived Cozumel walls & reefs?Tables still work, I'm told.
Thanks for all the replies (and the offer to help Chuck). I ended up renting from Aqua Safari. The mixed message i got about keeping the same one each day was because I asked if I could cancel after the first day.
