I love the beautiful colors on your pics. Looks like your having great weather over there. The wind has been howling here and hopefully will calm down for the weekend.

azcaddman, those are great pics of the "Back Wall".
I haven't dived it in years. The only way I can get to do it is on the kayak or pay a charter boat.
Maui Dive Shop does a 1 tank Back Wall dive for $69.00 (+7% tax and a tip).
I am getting more tempted to do it. I get my first Social Security check next month. Maybe I'll let Uncle Sam treat me to a Back wall dive.

not to be a rain man here, but did you say you put on your weight belt BEFORE your BCD? Isn't that a tad dangerous? Great pix BTW I always like them.

diverrick,
I do put my weight belt on before my BCD for kayak diving. It is just easier and there is less chance of dropping the belt that way versus putting it on under the BCD. I am already in the water when I put the belt on and about 3 or 4 feet from my BCD, so I don't think it's that unsafe.
Dropping a weight belt when kayak solo diving would be quite an inconvenience and challenge as well. You would have to scrap the dive or try and pull yourself down the anchor line, assuming the anchor stayed in place, then work your way over to the belt and put it on.

Very cool pictures. Molokini was my wife and I first tropical dive. It was very nice place to dive! I'm just glad i'm not one of the many snorklers there!!
