I believe ScubaBoard used to be part of a group of related sites that were part of the ScubaSource realm. I know that King Neptune was the original person in charge of ScubaBoard, the way NetDoc is now.

I do believe this is the record for the oldest Zombie thread ever revived, at least as far as I have ever seen.

ScubaSource was at one time the parent company for ScubaBoard. Ya, rly! ScubaBoard was designed to fill just a small niche in an overall scheme to dominate the internet for Scuba. Like most vast projects that start with half vast ideas (say it out loud) it failed due to a combination of inaction and a lack of creativity. On the internet, just because you build something, doesn't mean they will come! Ironically, somehow the niche has become the prevalent source for all things scuba. Should you want to attempt dominance once more, the domain ScubaSource, is currently for sale. ScubaBoard isn't.
