I want a super smooth, breaths like budda regulator. Lots of air flow and super easy breathing to the point I cant even tell I'm breathing out of a regulator.

Im willing to spend up to $1,000.

Down payment on a rebreather?

:D

Over the Kraken?

Only if you have one, and you still won't get as good of a performer as the Kraken. Luis modeled the cans to get the flows at their best, Anything else is a compromise. Very good, and very cool, but not "great".

Oh, come now. Who is this for?

The "cool kids"......:stirpot:

I have one, 15-037, I've been diving it for a month and just ordered another.

Indeed.
Phoenix is good but the Kraken is amazing

I always read comments on here about how sexy and badass the Kraken looks...

Am I alone when I say that I find it to be the ugliest regulator out there?

Would love to try one though.

Krakens aren't renowned for their good looks, fierce though...personally I think it's a rather apt name.
