Dive Shop in San Diego

Hello all, I am visiting San Diego in a couple months and was wondering if anyone could recommend a dive shop to me for guided tours. I looked online already, but there werent really any that had good reviews from what I saw. thanks.

I'm not sure how you go about it on ScubaBoard but you might be able to find some divers on here that would show you around.

Marissa, Waterhorse, and Lois Ann do not routinely put DMs/guides in the water, but I would imagine any of them would arrange one for you for an extra charge. I don't personally know anything about a shore diving guide, but I would bet that could be arranged also. Searching "guided shore dives San Diego" I found several including Scuba San Diego, San Diego Scuba Guide, and SD Expeditions.

You might be able to find a guide thru one of the organizations listed here -
Divebums - A San Diego Dive Website but their dive shop list is hopelessly out of date. Good info on shore diving in LaJolla though,

I used this shop once and had a good experience. Great rental equipment at a reasonable price and the guide was friendly.

San Diego Divers is hands down the best shop in town for Air and Nitrox (helium, argon, O2). I am not sure if they give tours, but would trust their recommendation!
