My wife showed me that yesterday. Sounds like he may have been on a private boat as opposed to one of the commercial charters in the area. Just speculation on my part but if there was a commercial boat involved the story typically names it. That is the closest point to the inlet to off-board a diver so they typically use that small marina for expediency. I pray that they recover fully!

One of the local news stations called it a DCS hit and they were treating in the chamber.

Hope he is ok.
Typical vague reporting..there is no emergency hyperbaric treatment there...nearest is South at St. Marys.
I would guess he was taken to nearest hospital and assessed. Then went elsewhere.
