Anyone intentionally do it? I figure if there are shark dives, why aren't there any guided alligator dives? I'm sure there are some clear, diveable waters inhabited by alligators.

In cuba u can dive with cuban crocodile. But its not possible to go very close.

Shark dives are fine, but alligators? No thanks

No thanks. I'll rather dive with reef fish.

FWIW, though most are scared of humans and unlike most species of sharks, alligators and crocodiles will gladly eat you.

I love diving with sharks..... gators nope as said above unlike sharks gators like human flesh.

I've been diving with Chris Gillette in Florida. He does shark dives with us but he also does very well run, close up gator dives. The pictures are once-in-a-lifetime shots. Chris is a well known award winning and nationally published photographer. He does work for the same dive magazine that I work with also.
