You, sir, are quite talented. And a true romantic. Too often I forget that guys like you actually exist. (I say because I am one too, btw...no rude thoughts, folks. :) ) Thanks for sharing the fruits of yer talent with all of us, dude.

Baitedstorm asked for another poem. So here it is, fresh from my thoughts about a girl that I once loved, lost, found, and can no longer have.

Lost Love

As I sit here and gaze over the ocean so vast
A whisper on the breeze, brings forth the past

My memories of her seem so removed and distant
In a dream she appears, the emotion is eminent

I can see her now; her beauty profound
Just the way I remembered, our lust did abound

I would cross this sea, it’s waves and it’s storms
To have one last chance at love once scorned

In my dreams I have missed her, I now see
Life has gone on, there is no chance for me

I sit here and gaze over the ocean, dreaming it’s her I see
Pretending she's on the other side, doing the same for me

:07: perfect!!!!!!

WOW...that's really beautiful.....I just don't think I could say any more....

The Memory Smile

As I sit and ponder, curious about what might have been

As the cycles of the moon go by, I look back once again

It's strange, all those little things I never thought I'd miss
Those conversations we had, the first time that we kissed

I hope you understand, that I loved you from the start
I won't stop now, even by the distance, keeping us apart

As I sit and ponder, smiling of what's to come
The cycles of the sun go by, reminding me not to run

Mem, you never cease to amaze me.... another beautiful poem.

A pilot, a diver, AND a romantic?

Most women would be jelly.....
